Foot Care

In the foot care office, an experienced, specially trained podiatry nurse provides treatment and care based on each patient’s individual needs.

The podiatry nurse performs the following procedures:

    • assessment of the overall condition of the feet and preparation of a treatment plan

    • treatment of foot ulcers, including for diabetic patients and those with atrophic ulcers

    • treatment of skin conditions: fungal infections, calluses, corns, and warts

    • treatment and correction of ingrown toenails

    • medical pedicure and nail care

    • counseling regarding orthoses

    • patient education and counseling, including foot care guidance and advice on footwear selection
